Walt- I have learned that Argentine Ants have been causing California residents a lot of frustration.  

 I have also learned that Argentine Ants have been around for many many years.

What I have learned about Argentine Ants 
I know about somethings  Argentine Ants
have smooth body skin and they are very strong.

Maths

WALT:  do 4x blog posts every week.  

we learned  factors  up to twenty-four what was changing 

for me, figuring out how much is twenty-four  

and what I enjoyed is doing it with my buddy       

Caricature art

WALT: Draw a Caricature of ourselves and emphasise something about our face that stands out.

Our task was to draw our face and focus on our features.  For our Caricature art we had to do an outline and draw all our features e.g eyes, mouth, nose, ears and hair.  Then we had to dye it.  My favourite part was drawing my face.  I could improve on drawing smooth and even outlines.

Matariki

WALT: Increase our knowledge by reading a wide range of texts (Matariki slides) 

for this week we have being doing matariki slides and we had to do this true and false
and it was fun but my favrite part is when we read about matariki

Fractions also known as part whole thinking

WALT: Understand that Part whole thinking means we break an object or group of objects into smaller parts.

This week we were learning about part-whole thinking  (fractions). I have been learning to draw half of.. a circle, triangle, square, and rectangle.
 I have also learned that I need to start working out the fractions properly e.g 1/4 of 20 Jellybeans = __.
